Luke Littler, a rising star in the world of darts, has expressed his confidence in fellow contestant Angry Ginge’s chances of triumphing in the jungle on the reality show “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Here.” The 18-year-old, who shares a friendship with Angry Ginge, also playfully hinted at the possibility of joining him in Australia in the future.
Arriving at Brisbane airport this week, Angry Ginge, known off-screen as Morgan Burtwistle, is all set for the show’s premiere on November 16, with bookmakers already favoring him to win the jungle crown. Meanwhile, Littler has advanced to the next stage of the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton after a commanding 5-1 victory over Daryl Gurney in his title defense.
In an interview with SportsBoom, Littler expressed his belief that Angry Ginge, aged 23, will excel in the challenging jungle environment, stating, “I think he’s going to do very well. I’ve known for a very long time. We’ll have to vote him on and see what he has to eat.”
When asked about the possibility of participating in a future season of the show, Littler humorously responded, “Erm maybe… If they come around for the right price. I might go over for a couple weeks.” Meanwhile, Angry Ginge has arrived in Australia, where he was warmly welcomed by fans and reporters, despite joking about his concerns regarding camping due to Australia’s notorious spiders and wildlife.
In a YouTube video announcing his participation in the reality show, Angry Ginge expressed his hope for Manchester United’s success in his absence, stating, “Hello there. If you are seeing this, I have officially been announced that I am going in the jungle. That’s what I’m praying for. I’m hoping I come out, Man Utd are second in the league and going for the title… Arsenal are dropping points.”
