A young influencer, Adna Rovčanin-Omerbegović, tragically passed away shortly after her wedding celebration. The 26-year-old fell ill during the reception on September 13 and was swiftly taken to the hospital where she slipped into a coma. Sadly, she succumbed to her condition on September 15.
Apart from her online content creation work, Adna also ran a salon in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia. Fans have expressed deep sorrow over her untimely death, with one saying, “Yesterday you were among us, today we send you off. Rest in peace, dear Adna.”
Another mourner added, “It is not fair for young lives to end prematurely like this,” while a third person expressed, “You will forever remain in our hearts.”
Survived by her husband, four sisters, and her parents, the exact cause of Adna’s death remains unknown. An autopsy is being conducted to determine the reason for her sudden deterioration.
Adna and her husband exchanged vows at the Hollywood Hotel in Sarajevo, and her funeral took place on September 17, with prayers held at the Mosque of Kobilja Glava. Hundreds of mourners gathered to pay their respects at her wake, as reported by local outlet Crnu-Hronik.
A close friend shared, “Adna always loved to help others. She spent her working life as a nurse at the Old City Health Center, and makeup was her second passion, a hobby that turned into a successful endeavor for herself.”
Even though Adna’s social media accounts were deactivated following her passing, her wedding photographer paid tribute to her on Instagram Stories, praising her smile as the “most beautiful” in Bosnia. Previously, the photographer had shared images of Adna and Faris, her husband, before their wedding day.
