Apple has officially rolled out iOS 27 to select users after announcing it last month. Additionally, iOS 27 promises speed improvements on older iPhone models, with apps launching up to 30% faster, quicker photo loading in the library, and up to 80% faster AirDrop transfers.
Users can now customize the transparency of the interface with a new transparency slider, offering a range of glass-like appearances. The update also brings refreshed app icons and enhanced photo-editing tools, such as Spatial Reframing for adjusting subjects in photos post-capture.
iOS 27 enhances connectivity by allowing smoother transitions between Wi-Fi and 4G or 5G networks, ensuring a more reliable connection for users on the go. AirPods users will enjoy more control over their listening experience with the new AirPods Custom EQ feature for adjusting bass, mid-range, and treble levels to personal preferences.
