“Amazon Slashes Streaming Prices Up to 60% for Prime Day”

Amazon has significantly reduced the prices of Apple TV, Paramount+, and MGM+ by up to 60% to celebrate the commencement of its latest Prime Day sale. The online retail giant launched its new site-wide sales event on Tuesday, offering subscriptions for various popular streaming services starting at £2.99.

As part of the promotion, Amazon customers can now subscribe to Apple TV for £4.99 per month, which is half of the original price of £9.99. Subscribers who take advantage of this offer will enjoy the discounted rate for two months before it reverts to the standard £9.99 unless canceled.

Similarly, MGM+, featuring content like “Project Hail Mary,” is now available for £2.99 per month for two months, down from the regular price of £5.99. Additionally, Paramount+ is offering a one-month subscription at £2.99 instead of the usual £7.99. These deals are valid until July 2 and coincide with Amazon’s launch of the Prime Day 2026 sale.

During the period from June 23 to 26, Prime members and those on a Prime 30-day free trial can access discounts on thousands of items. Prime Video is also offering free trials for Lionsgate+, Studiocanal Presents, and Crunchyroll. It’s important to note that both discounted streaming subscriptions and free trials will automatically transition to paid subscriptions at the end of the promotional period, so subscribers should remember to cancel if they wish to avoid standard charges.

In addition to the streaming services, Sky is providing complimentary access to Netflix, HBO Max, and Disney+ for customers who sign up for the £24 Ultimate TV bundle. This bundle includes approximately 135 channels, including Sky Atlantic.

Apple TV boasts a lineup of acclaimed titles this year, such as the comedy horror series “Widow’s Bay,” which holds an impressive 98% Rotten Tomatoes rating. The platform also recently launched the second season of “Sugar,” a neo-noir detective series starring Colin Farrell.

MGM+ features hit new titles like “Project Hail Mary,” alongside popular series like “Outlander” and the James Bond film collection. Paramount+ subscribers can enjoy the latest seasons of “The Agency” and “Dutton Ranch,” part of the £2.99 deal on the platform.
