Chris LePage struggled with a two-year addiction that began with marijuana use in school to enhance his social image before escalating to more potent substances. His parents, Maria and John, rushed to Boynton Beach, Florida, upon learning of their son’s hospitalization due to an overdose.
Despite being on a ventilator with no brain activity, Chris’s parents decided to discontinue life support.
