“Sky Introduces Sky One Revival & Ultimate TV Plan”

Sky has unveiled alterations to its TV channel lineup, set to roll out imminently. The adjustments include the discontinuation of Sky Showcase and Sky Max, effective from February 24. However, to compensate for these closures, Sky is reintroducing the popular Sky One channel.

Scheduled to relaunch tomorrow, Sky One will present a variety of comedy and entertainment programs for subscribers. Viewers can anticipate fresh content like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby, along with returning favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs. and The Paper and Ted.

Furthermore, Sky One will become the exclusive home of Saturday Night Live UK, premiering later this year. Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, expressed enthusiasm for the channel’s revival, emphasizing its unique offerings of original programming and beloved series.

Sky One is set to debut on channel 106 on February 24. Additionally, Sky is introducing a new subscription plan called Ultimate TV, priced at £24 per month. This plan includes access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, HBO Max, and over 130 premium channels like Sky Comedy and Sky Documentaries.

Subscribers to the Ultimate TV plan will also enjoy a dedicated Disney movie channel within the TV guide, providing seamless access to popular Hollywood films without the need for the Disney+ app.

The £24 plan encompasses Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads (effective from March), HBO Max Basic with Ads (starting March 26th), Hayu (available from July, with select shows accessible from March), and a vast selection of channels from Sky.
