“Manhattan’s Freely-Powered Aero 4K Set-Top Box Revolutionizes TV Viewing”

A new option is now available for households wishing to watch TV without paying a monthly fee. Freely, which was initially introduced in 2024, allows access to live channels through a broadband connection. Initially, it was limited to certain new TVs, but now, manufacturers like Hisense, Toshiba, and Sharp have expanded the range of compatible screens. Previously, individuals interested in using Freely had to purchase a new television from a tech retailer.

Recently, Manhattan’s technology team revealed a new Freely-powered set-top box called the Aero 4K, enabling access to over 60 live channels and on-demand content for free, without requiring a costly subscription. The Aero 4K also offers features such as voice search, viewing recommendations, a complete TV guide, and the ability to pause live programming. Users with subscriptions to services like Disney+ and Netflix can access these apps through the box as well.

Priced at £69.99, the Aero 4K has gained popularity. Currys is the first UK retailer to offer the Manhattan Aero 4K, which is currently out of stock due to high demand. However, it will be restocked soon according to information from Mirror Online.

Interested customers can sign up on Currys’ website to receive alerts when the Aero 4K is back in stock. Other retailers, including Amazon and John Lewis, are expected to start selling the device soon. Once available, the Aero 4K will compete with devices like Virgin’s Stream box and Sky Stream, which also deliver shows, sports, and movies via the internet, eliminating the need for aerials or dishes.

Transitioning to streaming offers benefits such as easier installation without requiring a technician’s visit and more frequent software updates. Freely has reported over a million users, indicating a growing trend of people shifting from traditional TV viewing methods to streaming services.
