Bernie Ecclestone’s spouse has shared insights into how they handle parenting their five-year-old child, despite their significant 46-year age gap. The ex-Formula One chief, now aged 95, and his 49-year-old partner reside in the peaceful Swiss town of Gstaad.
Their offspring was born in 2020 when Ecclestone was 89, signifying a fresh phase in their lives after getting married eight years earlier. The family splits their time between the picturesque Swiss Alps and Fabiana’s native Brazil.
The couple has raised their child to be trilingual, with Ace fluent in Portuguese from his mother, English from his father, and Swiss German from attending the International Preschool in Gstaad.
In a recent conversation about their parenting approach with Bild, Fabiana discussed how they effectively manage with a 95-year-old father and a 49-year-old mother. She emphasized their teamwork in raising Ace, ensuring discipline and balance in his activities.
Ecclestone, a former influential figure in motorsport, praised his son’s intelligence and adaptability, foreseeing a bright future for him. Fabiana highlighted Ace’s diverse interests and talents, including early skiing skills and an adventurous palate.
Despite the age gap between Ecclestone’s eldest child and Ace, the family dynamics remain harmonious. Ecclestone expressed a preference for a low-key celebration with his family, opting to fly to his ranch in Brazil rather than a grand party.
Additionally, recent reports revealed Ecclestone’s decision to sell a yacht associated with his daughters due to minimal usage. The Formula 1 magnate has put another yacht up for sale, showcasing a shift in his personal assets.
