Bargain seeker Jordon Cox shared a method to uncover a “hidden code” that discloses when a bargain is nearing its end at Tesco.
Jordon, known as the Coupon King on ITV’s This Morning, frequently imparts money-saving advice on social media platforms.
In a recent video, he elucidated that products on Clubcard Price promotion display a unique six-digit number indicating the offer’s expiration date.
He revealed, “To decipher the code at Tesco, check for a six-digit number starting with 25 on Clubcard Price items. By reading the numbers backward in pairs of two, you can unveil the deal’s expiry date: the last two digits represent the day, the middle two signify the month, and the first two denote the year.”
This revelation coincides with Tesco’s urging for customers to utilize £16.5 million worth of expiring Clubcard vouchers before the end of the month, with the deadline set for November 30.
Tesco rewards customers with Clubcard points based on their spending, such as earning one point for every pound spent on groceries in-store or online, or for every two liters of fuel purchased at Tesco petrol stations.
Moreover, Tesco Mobile expenditures, Tesco credit card transactions, and Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card usage also accrue points for customers. A minimum of 150 points is necessary to obtain a £1.50 Clubcard voucher redeemable at Tesco, with over 24 million UK households currently holding Tesco Clubcards.
