Andrew Tate is gearing up to make his debut in the world of Misfits Boxing later this year, where he will face off against the promotion’s heavyweight champion, Chase DeMoor. Tate, a seasoned kickboxing champion, was forced to retire early due to multiple eye injuries affecting his final matches.
The influencer had hinted at a switch to boxing, with potential opponents like Darren Till and Roy Jones Jr in the mix. However, it has been revealed that Tate will be challenging DeMoor, the current heavyweight titleholder who successfully defended his title against Natan Marcon in August.
Although Till will not be facing Tate, the former UFC title contender is expected to feature in the undercard, details of which are yet to be confirmed. The event, dubbed Misfits Mania, is set to take place on December 20 at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai.
The main card is projected to kick off at around 6pm UK time, with Tate likely making his entrance around 9pm. The fight is anticipated to be a pay-per-view event, with the broadcast details still under wraps.
In a statement, Andrew Tate expressed his enthusiasm for the event, asserting his position as a dominant force in sports entertainment and hinting at taking over the organization. He referenced a past incident involving KSI and claimed to have taken control of the company from him.
More details about the full fight card will be disclosed closer to the event date.
