Morrisons is generously offering more than 27 tons of carrots for customers to give to Rudolph and his companions. Beginning December 20 and running until Christmas Eve, shoppers can grab a complimentary carrot from the “Naturally Wonky” assortment, available while supplies last. These carrots may have slightly unconventional shapes or sizes.
Chris Smith, the Root Veg Senior Trader at Morrisons, expressed, “Christmas is a time for spreading happiness and joy, so we are pleased to provide our young customers with a free wonky carrot to leave out for Rudolph and his friends on Christmas Eve.”
“Our Naturally Wonky range not only supports British farmers and reduces waste but also provides customers with an economical option that still delivers fantastic taste,” Smith added.
This initiative coincides with various major UK supermarkets drastically reducing the prices of Christmas vegetables to just 5p, encompassing items like potatoes, carrots, parsnips, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts. The complete list of discounted Christmas vegetables can be found below.
