Apple has unveiled its latest iPhone model, the iPhone 17e, featuring significant enhancements at an attractive price point. Priced at £599, the device boasts a fast A19 processor, MagSafe charging technology, a durable build, and an impressive single-lens camera, offering a compelling alternative to the pricier flagship iPhone.
In a similar vein, Samsung has confirmed the release of its new Galaxy models, the A57 and A37, starting at a more budget-friendly price of £399. While these devices may not match the performance or advanced charging capabilities of the iPhone 17e, they sport a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology, providing a smoother user experience for tasks like browsing, emailing, and gaming compared to the 17e’s 60Hz refresh rate.
The Galaxy phones also feature sizable 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and P68 water and dust resistance ratings. Samsung has integrated various smart features into these new models, such as Google’s Circle to Search for quick web searches and enhanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions, simplifying photo editing and sharing tasks.
Moreover, Samsung has introduced improved Voice Transcription functionality within the Voice Recorder app, enabling users to transcribe call recordings, translate audio, and convert voicemail messages into text swiftly. The company has committed to providing extended support for the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G, promising up to six generations of Android OS updates and security patches over six years.
Both the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting from April 10th. The Galaxy A57 5G will be priced from £529 for the 256GB variant, while the Galaxy A37 5G will start at £399 for the 128GB version. The Galaxy A57 5G comes in colors like Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 5G offers options like Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White.
