“Sky TV Upgrades Ultimate Plan with Free Disney+”

Sky TV customers are in for a treat as the company has recently upgraded its Sky Ultimate plan, offering subscribers free access to Disney+. This move gives customers access to a wide range of popular content including Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel without any additional cost.

In addition to Disney+, Sky will soon introduce HBO Max Basic and Hayu to its lineup. The integration of these services across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms will enhance the viewing experience by seamlessly integrating Disney+ content into features like Continue Watching, search, and voice control.

Moreover, Sky Cinema subscribers will now have access to a dedicated Disney+ Cinema channel as part of the upgraded package. For those not currently subscribed, the new Sky Ultimate package is available to all UK households starting at £24 per month.

The £24 plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching on March 26 in the UK & Ireland), and full access to Hayu starting in July. Subscribers will also have access to over 130 Sky channels.

Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, Sophia Ahmad, emphasized that the goal of these upgrades is to simplify the streaming experience for viewers by integrating Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu into one subscription. Existing customers will receive the expanded lineup at no extra cost, while NOW Entertainment users will get HBO Max within the app without additional charges.

Overall, Sky’s efforts aim to streamline streaming services and provide a more cohesive viewing experience for subscribers.
