“Apple Launches Budget-Friendly MacBook Neo at £599”

Apple has had a hectic week unveiling a range of new products, including the iPhone 17e, upgraded iPad Air, and new MacBook Pro models featuring the latest M5 processors. Adding to the lineup is the MacBook Neo, a budget-friendly laptop that has been highly anticipated.

The MacBook Neo stands out with its vibrant design, impressive performance, and a high-resolution 13-inch screen, all priced at just £599. This makes it the first Mac available for purchase below the £600 mark, a significant £500 less than the latest MacBook Air introduced in the same week.

Powered by Apple’s A18 Pro-series smartphone processor, the Neo is efficient enough to handle daily digital tasks effectively, running macOS with access to popular applications like Microsoft Word, Pages, and iMovie. Users can enjoy over 15 hours of battery life on a single charge, making it highly convenient.

Additional features of the MacBook Neo include two USB-C ports, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, Touch ID fingerprint scanner, dual side-firing speakers supporting Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos, a Magic Keyboard, and Multi-Touch trackpad. Available in Silver, Indigo, Blush, and Citrus colors, the laptop is now open for pre-orders and will hit stores next week.

Apple’s Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, John Ternus, expressed enthusiasm for the MacBook Neo, emphasizing its affordability and innovative features. He highlighted the laptop’s durable aluminum design, Liquid Retina display, Apple silicon-powered performance, extended battery life, high-quality camera and audio components, as well as the seamless integration of macOS. Ternus described the MacBook Neo as a unique offering, tailored to a broader audience seeking a blend of performance and value.
