Former Sky Sports News Presenter Kirsty Gallacher Assaulted in London

Kirsty Gallacher shared details of a shocking incident where she was physically assaulted in London. The attack occurred while she was walking to her car after work. Gallacher, a former Sky Sports News presenter, described how a man in all black suddenly kicked her on a well-lit street with witnesses around. Despite being caught off guard, she emphasized that she was not provoking the assailant in any way.

The 49-year-old expressed her disbelief at the unprovoked attack, highlighting the bruises she sustained as evidence. Fortunately, some witnesses, including a group of helpful girls, saw the incident and came to her aid. Gallacher criticized the nearby security guard for not intervening, expressing disappointment in the stranger’s aggressive behavior towards her.

Having started her broadcasting career with Sky Sports in the late 90s, Gallacher later returned as a Sky Sports News host in 2011. She has also worked with other broadcasters like ITV and Channel 4, hosting various programs including a Gladiators revival in 2008 and appearing on GB News. In addition to her television roles, Gallacher has ventured into radio broadcasting, currently hosting a drive time show on Gold Radio during weekdays.
